Hi,
I'm looking to replace to my S9+ battery as it has degraded pretty bad but I noticed while checking online (1) that the part for this particular model is no longer available
Hence, my question is there a way to check whether the battery spare part for the S9+ is really out of stock at the service centres?
If yes, would it be possible for me to bring in an OEM battery to the service centre and have it replaced by the SC? I'll pay for the standard labor fee of course
Thank you

Hi!
As the Galaxy S9 series is quite dated (7 years ago), chances are parts will be pretty scarce.
Unfortunately, our SCs will not be able to accept OEM repairs as we do not know the specifications of these OEM parts (safety, certification, compatibility etc.). Furthermore repairs made under the SCs are covered with limited time warranty (depending on type of repairs) and thus unable to provide this service.
Hope this helps!
