When I am using the cover display on my Samsung Fold 3 and open up the phone, the display does not switch or transition to the main display. The cover display remains on and touch sensitive. I have tried switching the display on and off while phone is unfolded (and the cover display still activaed) and the display still does not switches over to the main display.
The only way I can get the main display to activate is (1) fold the phone; (2) switch off the cover display; and (3) unfold the phone. Once the phone is unfolded, the login screen will automatically switch on on the main display.
Has anyone experienced this issue and can provide any solutions?
I encountered exact the same problem as you mentioned. I am using Fold 3. The problem just occurred yesterday (31 May 2023). Is it relating to firmware upgrade? Thanks!
