SupportJust sent my kid A series phone to Samsung service centre at Westgate 2 days ago on 3 issues
1) cahrging take a very long time for more than 3/4hr even the capacity is at 60%. Charging time No charging icon.
2) on/off switch dont work sometime
3) screen with green lines at time.
According to service centre they repiled that the techician will monitor the 📱. Otherwise they will sort of reinstall the software...
Question - what if the screen dont appear green line during these few days? I even took a phone to shown the green lines.
Now just 🤞hope they do change the affected parts.

SupportIf it's still under warranty my advice is to get them to change the lcd screen. Because my S20+ also had a green line appearing out of nowhere but doesn't go away and it's a common issue for S20 series apparently. Now that I recall, a few months ago my phone had the green line appeared on the screen for a few seconds on 2 occasions but I brushed it off because I thought it's minor glitch. Now it's out of warranty that green line stayed permanently and Samsung SG customer service only response to their customers that paid 1000+ for the phone is to s uck it up or pay close to $400 to fix it when it's not the customer's fault. A flagship phone that can only last 1 year +, how disappointing.

SupportHow is that high quality when so many people around the world are facing the same problem? A search on google you can read countless of reviews and other countries's Samsung community on this s20 series phone that they are facing this "green line appearing out of nowhere" problem after using the phone for 1 year plus. So making a flagship phone that cost $1000+ with lcd screen that last for 1 year+ is high quality?
A lot more people complained under this thread, have you seen it? https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s/green-line-on-my-s20/td-p/15068017
Even on Samsung SG Facebook page there is complain about the same problem but no one from samsung sg gives a hoot. I didn't stroll through every posts but I bet there are more. Singapore Samsung customer service only solution offered is to pay nearly $400 to solve a problem that is not caused by our fault while I've seen people from Samsung Phillipines community got their fix for free. Wonder why the customer service provided here differ so much?
