SupportI purchased a Samsung Refrigerator (Model RS64R5301B4) on May 9, 2023, and I’ve been facing repeated issues despite it being a relatively new unit.
Issue Timeline:
- April 2024: Ice maker stopped working. A technician came and cleaned the condenser, but no full inspection was done.
- March 10, 2025: The fridge completely stopped working.
- March 12, 2025: A technician diagnosed a C84 error – defective compressor & condenser leak due to a rusted part.
- March 18, 2025: Case manager informed me that Samsung will only replace the compressor, but I must pay for the rusted part’s repair, even though this appears to be a material defect.
- March 19, 2025: My service request was canceled without my consent. When I called back, I was told it would be reopened, but I haven't received any updates.
Concerns:
- Why was my service request canceled without my approval?
- Why is the rusted part, which caused the failure, not covered?
- Why is Samsung refusing a full replacement when the unit has a major defect?
- Why is there no update on my case despite repeated follow-ups?
This issue has already cost me ₱50,000 in spoiled food and is affecting my household, especially since my father, who is sick, has medications that require refrigeration.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Samsung refrigerators and warranty support? How did you get your case resolved? Looking forward to any advice.

SupportThe repair is costly, we bought our unit 2022, less than a year or a year after, we encountered the first issue - the door was replaced. Now the compressor just broked down, although the compressor is under warranty, the other parts of the quotation which is the System reprocess - we have to pay 10k. We are just a small household. This product is not reliable and NOT money worthy.
