My phone suddenly developed a white line from the top edge of the phone to the camera lens.

I've noticed that is I switch to Power Save mode the line goes away (but in this mode I don't get 5g).

I've take it to Samsung Service centre who said "it's 3 months out of warranty and will cost in excess of RM2,000 to repair".

Firstly, the reason I have the S22 Ultra is because my previous Samsung Note 20 developed a "motherboard" problem and was advised by the same service centre that it would be cheaper to buy a new phone than have it repaired, as again it was a few months out of warranty.

I've been using Samsung phones since 2012 (Note 3) as well as Samsung TV's, Samsung Microwave, Samsung Fridge/freezer, Samsung Sound Bar, Samsung Washing Machine so I consider myself a good and loyal customer.

However, if all Samsung can guarantee their phones will work is 12 months then I think you have lost my business and will make it known across various social media platforms.

Please review my request to repair this S22 Ultra under warranty.

Similar issue happened after software upgrade, refer below link. Im totally disappointed with Samsung as well. Say No to Samsung for future upgrades
