hallo guys. just asking? for now which way could be the best for my above limping subject? limping-as it would erratically hang or freeze. for now a.) its the sm-j700h main board thats running and its stuck at android 5.1 and cant go up higher at 8 where it can run some essential apps. and b.) those 2 above options are yet the least cost im taking while i may be saving for, say, samsung xcover 4s. if you say "replace the main board", is there a j-700 mainboard whose variant can run andoid 8 before i ultimately end up at j701f/ds mainboard replacement? thank you guys for any help you may afford.

Have you check online if there are samsung parts that you can purchase for your device. My opinion only- I'd ask myself how long its gonna last or is it worth changing the parts rather than buying a new device?

Lots of apps, useful apps continously improving and require android version higher than android8 to run(what about the RAM). Considering updates take so much space on your device as well 8 wouldn't be oudateded soon I guess if you are not say into games but what about the device itself(hardware) How old is it?

..why thank you your effort 00018. why should i run your coffee cold, if you are into it right now, excuse me if i did. sorry i forgot to mention that im after of the removable batt features of some samsung phones of which are lot comfy and fire/theft safe-wise. thats why im focused on xcover 4s--a mid range higher one. i wonder if we can find such feature along with the likes of a03 or budget/mid range one that youve just shared.

I couldn't agree more with the removable batterry way safer and convenient when replacement needed to. And the fact that Xcover 4s is IP68 whaaaat

well its like this: parts replacement would go on as long as the removable feature im looking for stays even until im saving/waiting for that xcover 4s which has that feature. unless of course i can search one with the batch or likes of a03 youve just shared, i may settle for it--much better. hope you dont mind (pawalang-galang lang po) spare batt is the one is being re- charged via separate charger than the unit itself (thats what i do right now: im using my phone while my other spare batt is recharging. while my still other batt is fully charged ready for swapping incase the one im using now is low batt. so there are 3 batt actually am using for my phone). so thats why i say the least its fire/theft safe. so yon po..

Napa smile ako kasi when I bought my phone I couldn't just pay for it and leave samsung store ...hindi ko ma-imagine yung non-removable batt(my 1st) pero dahil kailangan ko ng replacement dahil sa trabaho all I had to do was pay for it. Eventually I get used to it but I did the same(back then) like more than 1 battery that I won't have to plug my phone to a wall charger and keep myself from using it while plugged in 😃
