Why Samsung Weather widget missing update intervals?

Used to have update intervals (1 hrs, 2hr etc) under settings in previous versions of samsung weather widget. Since upgrade to s23u, this option is missing. Also, I read in some articles newer versions of the app also support Update when movement detected. This option is also missing in the s23u weather widget. 

Have checked "about" and it says latest version installed.

you mean the auto refresh is not appeared in the settings? can u share the screenshot?

Auto refresh option does appear, but as you can see the difference with your ss, there is no update intervals choices. And the Auto refresh on the go option is also missing. Upgraded from s22 and was surprised the differences in options.

from my opinion, i would say that the weather app version on your device is "smarter" than my version. it will auto update if necessary instead of you set everything.

Do not agree. The previous version has time intervals and also shows the latest time updated. Whereas if you set to auto refresh on mine, no idea how long ago it was done..5 mins? 30mins? The widget info could be outdated and we wouldn't know unless you go into the app, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a widget.

Mine on S22U has 1.6.55.35 which has update intervals.

Is there no solution to this? Even update to latest April update, the weather app is still missing these basic options. And version is unchanged. Really embarrassing for samsung. Currently using other weather app.
