Xcover 7 and camera support for 0.5 zoom

Hi,

We have used a number of Xcover 4 up to 6 and are moving over to Xcover 7.  Is there any work around to let Xcover camera support 0.5 zoom?
In Xcover 7 it starts from 1x and I can not find a settings to cange it start from 0.5.
