Not all has access to fast internet in the Philippines I was hoping for a self-installing Samsung tablet and just upgrade when there is good internet 😭😭😭😭
All phones just downloads the updates when you have a working internet connection. Everything must be downloaded first if you want to update something. Samsung isn't the only brand doing this.

As for your concern, most devices automatically downloads updates and notify you of installation should it be ready. Just make sure that the "auto update" option is turned on so that when a strong internet connection is within access, the update will download automatically. Hope this helps!
