Samsung Notes keeps crashing after One UI 4 update

After I updated, samsung notes keeps crashing after writing for a maximum of 30 seconds, sometimes even lesser. Ican open it but it keeps on crashing and not saving anything when I try writing using the S pen. Restarted the phone multiple times, cleared the cache of the app, check for updates on both Galaxy Store and Playstore (both said that the app is up to date). What else can I do to solve this problem?

I did this, and it still crashes. I decided to factory reset the tablet, only for the samsung notes app to crash again after some time of use.

Me too. Tried clearing cache, factory reset, duplicating notes, but it just keeps on crashing 🥴

If you really need to use the app, what I did was to only use it when the battery is in the 100-70% range. It still crashes after some time, but I can write for almost a maximum of 2 minutes now before it crash again (unlike when I use it at <50% batt., I can only write for a few seconds before it crash). I also constantly have to exit the notebook so I can force the auto sync/save function since the auto sync doesn't work when you're only writing a 60s worth of words.

It still crashes up until this day and there's no updates for the app yet, and since I really need to use it, I just end up doing what I said above. It works but it's still a bother. I just really hope that it wouldn't take too long for an update to solve this if this is really an app issue.

Same, I constantly exit the app to save my progress, too. But sometimes it crashes less than 5 seconds of using and it's very annoying to write again and again because some changes won't be saved.

Thanks for the tip on the battery percentage, I'll try it.

Hi, i think i figured out when my app crashes: it's when I use the easy writing pad. When I don't use the feature, it does not crash. So, I just zoom my pad to 300% rather than using it. I hope this would help.

Same problem, but the crashing only occurs after writing 2 to 3 sentences using the zoom box mode. I came to the samsung store with this problem, (after a soft and a hard reset etc) and he flashed my s6 lite as a last resort, but nothing helped. He forwarded the problem to samsung in order for the problem to be fixed in the next update. He said there was nothing else to to but wait till the next update.  

If more people report it, the higher the priority for fixing this bug in de next update, so please report it!
