Do you guys have any tips on how to swipe to open a Navigation drawer in an app with the new gesture system enabled? For example, like in Gmail when you wanna open the left side menu, you can swipe from the left to open the menu (if you're not using the new gestures), but now it just activates the back gesture. With the new gestures, I would have to reach all the way to the top left corner to open the nav drawer by touching the hamburger menu icon. Do you guys know of any way to have both things, or if Samsung plans to update this to a system that allows both?

for me I just take my right thumb to the left edge and set it there for a fraction of a second. you'll see the pane start to grab the slide it out. Hopefully that makes sense and works for you.

if you do it like normal but pull slightly upward (think 20-30 degree angle upward) it pulls the drawer out really consistently instead of the back gesture. The back gesture almost requires that the pull be very flat.

It seems to be a OneUI issue. Google has already explicitly said that the new back gestures are only in the lower half of the screen while the upper half of the screen is reserved for in-app gestures such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter.

This bug needs to be sorted out
