I think it's because on the beta the updates don't have to go through the carriers. Once the final build for 10 is released, we will go back to getting the security patches a month behind or more...

clear partition cache afterwards. I had a weird spacing issue where my bottom home screen icons were almost half way up the screen. wiping cache fixed the issue. most issues appear to be resolved. still cant play games though.
