I also noticed that RAM goes way down after the latest beta update. I found a very good app that really clears your memory and RAM well and it has ads, but it's free.

Then you want to bring up the settings by clicking on the top right settings icon and select adjust hyper cleanup:

Then select advanced adjustment:

This is what I have mine set to:

Then select others in the settings menu:

If you select the ones that I have checked it is a little faster to clean and continuous cleaning will cause it to keep cleaning and not just go 1 cycle, and you can keep tapping it when it is cleaning to get better cleaning.

I hope this helps anyone who reads this and you can use it as often as you want. I usually get at least 5.5 gb of memory free when I use it then use phone optimizer.

honestly it's really not a problem. the OS takes up a nice chunk of the RAM so out of 8, out of the box you only have around 6. then you start adding apps and daily use, etc etc. if it's not making your device run slow, it's really nothing to worry about and if you didn't have this issue before beta, that's probably all it is. there's a saying in the Android world- "unused ram is wasted ram" lol. just make sure you close out apps you're not using, put them to sleep. and bloatware you have that you don't want/use disable or uninstall

ever since Android lollipop the os has become very skilled at controlling memory so that the average user wouldn't have to worry about it having your ram almost full on a latest device isn't a bad thing (or it's a memory leak 🤷 which that app still wouldn't be the best option) the ram cleaner on the device keeps the important apps running while cleaning the other apps like Facebook, YouTube, etc and etc. the app your recommending deletes everything good and bad which will result in the phone having to restart crucial apps thus using more battery power in the long run meanwhile the system ram cleaner that comes with the phone knows not to delete certain processes. remember mobile phone are meant to have a lot of memory being used that's when a phone runs faster cause it means everything is already loaded so it'll get to you faster these phones are intended to use a lot of memory. and if it's a leak either factory reset, or keep doing what you're doing, or just wait for the official release

why not just use the built in RAM clearing function in device care? and also what's the point of having 8GB of RAM if you want so much free? I like that most of my apps usually never have to reload even if I haven't used them for most of the day.
Tips
Some people said that since the last update their RAM seemed to be really low and I had the same issue. Like it going down to 1.5 out of 8 Gigabytes. The amount free determines quite a few things about your phone. How fast it runs, download speed, battery life and how fast the Browser loads pages just to name a few. I've cleared cache partition and it didn't make any difference at all. I understand where you are coming from but if I only have 1.5-2 out of 8 gigs and I usually had at least 6 or more, I would really like to have as much as possible so my phone can run the best and my battery isn't handling as much from the processors so it does not run my battery down when it is so low. It does not kill any recent apps that you have open in the background so it should not affect any of them opening faster because you clear memory. It's not a task killer, cache cleaner or anything like that. I've been using it for over a year on several different phone models and different Android O.S.'s. If you don't have memory issues and your phone is as fast as you want it to be you don't have to use it. I posted it in tips because I have seen a lot of people saying that their RAM is very low and they wanted something that would help it. If you have used optimizer and it's still slow it affects a lot of things on your phone. Maybe you aren't experiencing that issue but I am and so are others, so I was trying to help the ones who are dealing with it like I am.

this is not the place to promote another app..

It's in tips for people who are having problems with their RAM. I'm not promoting a free app. I was posting it because I was having the same issues as others have posted. If you are not having a problem then you don't have to use it. If I was "promoting" it, wouldn't I try to get everyone to use it? I offered a tip that can help with a problem others have posted about so I don't see it as "promoting." I'm just trying to give a solution that worked for me. I'm sorry you have an issue with that, but, I am not here to try and make everyone happy and cater to every person who feels the need to say something that is incorrect. You need to look up the definition of promoting and the definition of problem solving and the definition of help. I think that you have gotten confused about my post.

You should never use these kinds of apps at all. The system will do all of this itself.

If I use the optimizer and my RAM is still low, what am I supposed to do besides use an app that clears memory and gives me a decent amount? I am open to any suggestions anyone wants to give. If I use the optimizer and clear the cache partition and power cycle my phone the RAM still gets extremely low and I don't have that many apps downloaded on my phone and I close background apps when I am not using them. I still get down to between 1.5-1.7, sometimes even lower and then when I do all the things I said, it gets to between 4-4.5 and I can't get it any higher besides using an app like this. I don't know what else to do besides the things I already am. Like I said, if there is anything else I can do, please let me know. Thank you.

#1 there is a built in RAM cleaner. #2 these apps are crap and no good for your device and just use up more RAM/battery/storage than you were to begin with! please don't promote this junk

lol. adding a ram management app on top of a ram management app. lol. both use system resources & background services. May look like it's using less for a moment, but after that the phone more than likely defaults to the core apps and how's back up to its normal idle.

UcanCWhatIC, if you were having the same issues I am you wouldn't be so quick to lol 😂 me and I have the optimizer as a widget on my home screen and after I use it, it is awhile before I go back down 👇 to 1.5 and when I use it it gets back up 👆 to between 5.5-5.7 and stays higher for a while. I'd suggest that you have all the information before you make an assumption, assessment and judgement. You think that what you are saying is correct but you are wrong.
