Since last three days my perfectly working galaxy watch 6 lte is facing screen flickering issue with bright white horizontal lines whenever any home or back button is pressed. The watch is functioning and recording health parameters normally but I cannot read anything on the watch. The order of events as I observed is as follows :-
1. On 10th Feb 2025, night while charging I noticed occasional flickering white lines. I removed my watch from charging.
2. Next day on 11th Feb, when I had again put my watch for charging, intensive flickering started and screen went totally dark. But vibrations and notification kept coming. After some time I noticed that screen is very dim but in dark condition I could *** what's there on the screen.
3. I factory reseted my watch after taking back up. After reset, my backup wasn't restored for some reason and on top of it, my watch screen was still very dim and whenever any button is pressed, screen flickering with white horizontal lines started.
4. Thereafter, I did watch diagnostic using samsung inbuilt option and found that all parameters were working except for LTE as it was not activated.
5. Next day I.e. 12th Feb After wearing watch for most part of the day, at evening I observed that watch screen issue had worsened and it was fully showing white flickering whenever I pressed any button. After some time watch returns to blank screen After its screeb timeout.
6. No I have just switched off my watch and hoping like hell that watch becomes OK on its own.
the only solution is replace the screen, if S or Z phone screen can suffer green/pink line issues then Galaxy Watch have their own problem: that flickering and orange screen
it doesn't matter if you never drop your GW6, there's a small chance Galaxy Watch may suffer orange screen or flickering issue: thanks to heat generated from Watch Body, nevertheless i have read several reports about this kind of issue from reddit from GW4, GW4C, GW5, GW5P, and now GW6 owners, i forget about GW6C but i think i read somewhere about its broken physical rotating bezel
i never saw screen report from GW7 and GW Ultra since they still considered as new product and it's pretty rare to find GW FE because of its small battery and no 44mm variant
