28" Odyssey G7 UHD Monitor - Series S not running on 1440p 120fps

My recently purchased - 28" Odyssey G7 UHD Monitor  will not be recognised or run on my XBOX Series S at 1440p 120fps. 

In the Auto recognition - it only says my tv is capable of running 1080p at 120fps. 

I have tried using all of the different options on the xbox settings to no avail. 

Can anyone help? 

I will be upgrading to the series X when there is stock, but I would of thought this monitor could run the S at its stated optimal output 1440p 120fps.

Hi @mF50, I have just received a response from our team.

Our team suggest turning Freesync Off and seting the Input Port Version to 2.1 and checking if this helps. 

1. Menu > Game > Refresh Rate > 120hz

2. Menu > System > Input Port Ver. > 2.1
