I was looking forward to joining beta when it was happening but obviously it wasn't available for Australian users. Fair enough, didn't matter too much to me but would've been nice to be a part of it. But now I'm waiting for the actual update, seeing so many people around the world get it weeks ago while us Australians are sitting here watching paint dry. Like... I'm a patient person and even this is too much for me. Does Samsung actually care about their Australian users? I'd like to at least know official dates, or even why they take so long to update in Australia. It's actually ridiculous.

Kinda agree, didnt S21 lines released Android 12 back in Nov and we are in Dec now without it and no announcements

Likely causes are Carrier testing and an issue was found with the initial release build, which has resulted in a newer build being pushed out.

Also, the final build only started rolling out on Nov 16, so it's not like we're months behind.
There are also other markets waiting too.

Keep an eye on the notification bell, Samsung should post it's rollout soon.

Also, there's still plenty of 3rd party apps that still haven't been updated yet.

Surely yes it's a let down for us in Australia ...but all is not lost atleast we can make samsung aware and definitely it will be heard in very near future ....but for now S21 users have to wait may be atleast to the mid of Dec for one UI4 ....but if you are a brave heart you can still try the official release in a right way without rooting or modifying your phone....firmware is available....and you should know what you are doing .... I am pretty sure coming from now on we I Australia will be heard and will get the future update in par with the other countries

And of course will be considered in future beta testing

This is actually getting pretty ridiculous, the Note10 series is getting OneUI 4 in Korea while Australian 'B' model S21s aren't. At this point everyone should just buy an 'N' model for faster updates.Screenshot_20211203-142845_Samsung Internet.jpg

The link you refer to is about the Beta build/program rolling out there, not the final build.

Hi @friedberries, I understand your excitement for the upcoming update. Rest assured, our team are working hard behind the scenes on the first release of the update. As mentioned below, our team will make update announcements via the 'Notices' section in the Samsung Members app.

To get here:

Samsung Members > Notification bell > Notices

As for why updates are released gradually, there are many stages the updates go through which include Beta testing overseas, additional compatibility changes by Samsung Australia, testing by carriers, and within these, testing for each device model.

Hope this clarifies things.

What happens to people who have the S9 plus including myself and i can't afford to upgrade. From what I have read the S9 plus isn't eligible for android 12.Does this mean I will no longer be able to use my phone?
