Another Asurion victim!

It looks like I've become another victim of the Asurion trade up debacle.

I recently traded in my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE to buy a new Samsung S23 Ultra. My S20 FE had spent its entire life in a full cover phone case, with a screen protector, so physically it was awesome. And it worked even better - it was in perfect working order.

So imagine my shock when I logged into the Asurion trade up portal to find that my phone has been graded as NGWO (Not in Good Working Order). I am very confused by this, since it was working perfectly when I sent it off, but even more confusingly, the photos attached to my portal account show my S20 FE with the screen turned on, and working just fine!

I am beyond angry to have trusted Samsung to provide its loyal customers with a hassle-free trade in process, and instead are allowing people to be completely ripped off by Asurion.

I have already reached out to SamsungClaudette, but besides an initial email response, there has been no further contact or assistance, and I haven't heard a peep from Asurion, except for the acknowledgement that my phone had been received.

I've only ever had Samsung phones, but this whole thing has left me so angry that I'm seriously considering returning my S23 Ultra and taking my money elsewhere. Loyalty works both ways, Samsung!

If anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with this, I'm all ears.

Best solution is to contact Asurion and suggest that you will go to TIO if they don't sort it out straight away contact the TIO and get them to sort it out. I believe the staff at Asurion don't know what they are doing (probably Apple users) I sent a old phone and used wifi to install the trade up app and Asurion said wifi didn't work..

Cgers80, thanks.. I'm one of the lucky ones in getting my money back! The biggest issue I had was that I missed out on all the discounts in swapping to the Flip5, and Samsung doesn't care about all this Asurion BS... no one has bothered to contact me from the Australian arm office...... no matter how many emails I've sent... @samsungclaudette.......

Thanks! I'll give SamsungClaudette a few days to give them a kick in the pants, and then I'll try this. Hopefully we all get a resolution soon. What a debacle.

Mate Asurion is not contactable and send u "noreply" emails only , u can try to go through the website and leave a message but good luck with a response , yes u are not the only one experiencing this and Samsung by now should have moved to have this third party company removed from representing the company as they have been a ridiculous company and platform to use mates , honestly right now your hands are tied like the rest and a waiting game , hopefully u can be paitent enough to have this resolved, but don't hold your breath on a time frame for a resolution at all bud , sorry to say , hopefully Samsung and reps wake up to themselves as this prelaunch benefits to so called loyal members blew up in all out faces and left us loyal Samsung users and lovers honestly considering making that switch to other companies after such a ridiculous blunder by our once upon a time beloved company Samsung !!!....

It's definitely something I don't plan on going through again! I'll sell any future devices privately before I trust trading them in again...
