Seems as though, you buy a top of the range phone, and even they become so oddly boring after a short time. There's only so many apps available. And most apps I don't have a need for or have absolutely no interest in. Ai is now progressing in most ways to be dangerous because of the people who train it and model it. Which makes ai totally useless to me. So what else is there. I think I'll return to a phone that does nothing more that make phone calls and send texts, with a basic calculator, clock and maybe calendar. Smart is not smart for me.
I play with my phone camera but don't need it. I have many other good quality camera's.
Maybe it's an age thing.

Interesting..I have a zfold6 and never get bored of it. I never get bored dot. Lol. Maybe that is the difference. I would not want to go back to a more simple phone.

Yep. I can buy a more powerful laptop for less than the S25Ultra with more memory, more storage and a whole heap more you can do with it and enjoy it for a lot longer. Only thing is I can stick that in my pocket. But I wouldn't get bored of it. My old laptop out performs my phone. I've done as much with my phone as I can and it can and its now boring. Probably why I spend so much time here.

I am in my late 70s. This tablet and the S23 FE phone I am using provide me with resources many times greater than my earlier 2000s work desktop computer (18 GB). Do I occasionally get bored? Yes, but that is me not my devices. You have access to incredibly massive databases, training software, hobby opportunities and much more. If you only want a phone then only activate that. Define what you need and otherwise go and sit on your ride-on mower or other toys. It has always been the case that users only use a fraction of their computers' abilities, ever since the late 1970s. Many careers have been blighted by users' failure to improve their personal and work opportunities. I would say "get a life" but I regard that as a defence used by those incapable of providing rational defences to support their arguments. But jeez, this comes close. There are biblical phrases which rightly put the blame on those who don't recognise their limitations and blame outside factors. Hope you have mirrors.

I have all that plus 10 times more with my laptop. There is nothing this phone can do that it can't other than fit in my pocket. Plus, nearing 60yo, it's easier ti see and read a 16" laptop screen. Also, using all power of a device by overloading memory and storage is detrimental. Its best to keep them to as limited as you can so you can use the computers full abilities.

Oh. And as an overweight 60yo, I don't use mirrors. Maybe smoke and mirrors, that's all.
