Swipe up so you can see all your apps, find teCalendar. Place and hold your finger on the app and you will find it becomes active, whilst eeping your finge o it drag to Home screen. Alternatively, use a widget. Again, swipe up, tping "widgets" into the sarch bar, when they show up, one should be a calendar widget.
