I do not understand the constant complaints about One UI 7.

It is a software update. One of the most meaningless, non issue things to worry about. They have stated it will roll out FROM April 7, and when the clock hit 12 and it still hadn't hit phones, there was riot. For what? Do we not have anything more important to do in our lives? I can't comprehend the dramatic complaints about this. "I'm switching back to iPhone" "Samsung are scamming us" and yet I guarantee if they released One UI 7 in a beta state, full of bugs, these same people would be complaining, "they should have waited until it was more polished to release this!!!!"

Yes, patience and waiting is annoying, but the amount of seething online over a phone software is incredibly dramatic and a bit embarrassing. It's software. It will come to your phone soon. You don't need to "jump ship" and completely transfer to a new device ecosystem because it isn't here yet. You people are mad thinking it's been "delayed" when really, they've stuck to the rollout exactly how they said they would. Maybe try putting that energy into something meaningful in the meantime.

Is the update impacting the use of your phone? No? You can still use it just as you have since you bought it. It's "on time". They never gave you an exact date, you're just assuming what they should be doing according to your complaints. Smh

Actually yes, it does actually. I have been having problems with reception since the previous security patch, and they did give a specific time 7th for Korea, 10th for America (which some still haven't gotten the update), and the 14th... today is global release, do some research next time

Plus my dude, im not actually mad at not having the update, im mad at samsung not being transparent and saying "hey, we won't be able to release it yet, we hope to have it out on April 21-23 for this and that country" im upset that they aren't being clear to me when I spent so much money on something and its not coming in a timely order btw this update is late, the beta's started this year while oneui 6 came out October 2024, oneui5 October 2022. Catching onto the problem yet? I understand it's being built up but they need to TALK

The update has been suspended due to complications with the lock screen. Fortunately, a highly adept YouTuber has provided a thorough analysis of the issue, complete with sinple an ingenious workaround.
