My monitor  (s24b350) has been working faithfully for years. It suddenly stopped detecting HDMI input (I have not had the ability to test the analog cord input).

The screen is black when turned on (red LED lights up) and screen gets power (lights up but black) then toggles between HDMI and Analog signal detection.

When I manage to get the menu to work  (it takes many menu button push attempts to get the timing right), the only menu available PC/AV Mode (see pics).

I suspect that the it is either a broken HDMI port or software issue, but I cannot "reset" the monitor settings or software to test the software option. Any thoughts on how I can do a reset?

Cheers Paul

For those that come after me:

1) See this video: https://youtu.be/E9LoiDOTMOE

2) the OSD Menu seems to only work if the PC is connected (problem if you can't connect). When no PC is connected the menu will only display the PC / AV option - this is not in the manual but discovered by experience.

Have you checked the HDMI cable? Some internal wire in the cable may be broken but touching briefly. If replacing do a little Google searching for the correct cable as there seem to be different types of cable with the same HDMI cable ends. Oops, before doing any of that it might just be dirty cable connections. A quick short term fix is to pull the cable ends in and out of the socket repeatedly as this tends to improve the connection. A very light use of an emery board on theoutside of the HDMI Pplug also cleans the connection.

Thanks - yeah I have tried multiple HDMI cables and PCs. It is definitely the monitor.  The issue with the monitor menu is also an indicator.

Any idea how to do a software "reset" on the monitor?

Sorry, no. Googled s24b350 monitor reset, without brackets, one link is to the manual but other results may also be helpful
