Hey @RajuTmg ,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having overheating issues with your device.

When setting up a phone for the first time, it is likely that the phone becomes warm due to the amount of data which is being downloaded - this normally calms down within 24-48 hours.

Some tips to help with overheating are as follows:

  • Stop any apps that might be running in the background
  • Try to use device maintenance to optimise the phones settings
  • Turn on data saver in the phones settings
  • Refrain from using your phone while it is charging or leaving it exposed to external heat sources

To cool an overheating phone down, you can temporarily remove any covers or cases that are protecting it - you can put these back on once the temperature has dropped.

Hope this helps out, and I hope you are enjoying your new device :)

Hey @RajuTmg ,

It must be frustrating to experience this - I would recommend that you head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this.

Due to our Privacy Policy, your Galaxy S25 Ultra may be factory reset before being assessed so I would highly recommend that you back it up via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure that none of your data is lost.

For more information on how to back up your device: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/back-up-samsung-device/

To book an appointment prior to heading in-store or to drop off your device via Australia Post: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/your-service/main

To find your nearest store: https://www.samsung.com/au/samsungstore/

Hope this gets resolved quickly!

Other things to try would be a factory reset.

You could also use the Samsung Members app to send an error log. You should do this when it's running hot, or when an app lags.

Just tap on the Support tab.

My S25 running cool with no overheating issues. And I've been using it a lot!
The the only time it got noticeably warm was during the initial setup. SmartSwitch plus installing all the apps.
