I've been a Samsung account holder since 2012 and I received my Galaxy S23 ultra yesterday. I reached out to Samsung support about my rewards since it kept throwing an error.

I was shocked to have support say the points would not be credited to my account. The reason being I was not logged in when placing the order.

1. I was logged in hence the orderid is mapped to my account 
2. I had purchased the care program which had also been mapped to my account 
3. On email it clearly states "Visit my account" with the text below "If you haven't joined the Samsung Rewards program, join with a Samsung account and get points to redeem for discounts of up to 99% on future purchases. You can earn up to 15,096 points for this order."

So basically what support says is that the points aren't displayed in the invoice and hence it won't be credited.

I'm not sure anyone should fall victim to a system error. So putting it out there so that people can take caution.

Did you get a response? After reading all the bad reports against Samsung's service, I might just purchase the new phone front JB to avoid the hassle of dealing with imbeciles.

I was 100% logged in and signed up when I made my purchase, same thing everything else shows that I was logged in. I even screenshot the page that showed my estimated points that would be credited after the waiting period in T&C's. After many attempts to contact Samsung with this, I finally heard back from someone. I have been told that because my account (apparently) was not working correctly on their end that I will NOT be receiving my points!!! I have replied that this is not fair, I followed all instructions to make sure my purchase would be eligible to claim the points and my account showed that I was due to get them. Has anyone else been told this, did it get resolved?
