I recently traded in our old Galaxy Tab 6 for a new one and just received an email saying NGWO and charged us a whopping $165 Mis-grading Fee (on a device they had given $120 trade in value).

We literally backed up the device in the morning → factory reset it → sent it off same day so it was most definitely in full working order.

There's no other details provided and no way to speak to anyone? I've submitted an inquiry online as that was the only option available.

Anyone can suggest what else I can do here? What happens if I just cancel the trade-in (would there be other fees as well)?

I am also having the exact same issue, I had the value and phone withheld and I have emailed them that I do not accept the NGWO and would like the phone sent back.

At this stage, samsung has STOLEN from me

Same situation here. Traded-in a Tab S6 lite. Very minimal use, charger and S-pen and original box. Graded with Non-Good Working Order and refunded $1. The packing costed me more than that. They essentially steal my tablet.

I was also scammed by Asurion & Samsung on my S10 5G where they offered me for my fully working phone for $185 trade-in and now came back saying it is not in good working condition and they offered me $1. I have disputed it and asked them return my working phone back. It's been more than 7 days and there is no communication. They closed my matter without responding or returning my phone. They are running scam. They should have clear communication to customer and if customer is not happy, they should return their phone. See below this is what their policy is.

I purchased a Samsung phone for my son. They took my S7 as a trade-in for a $130 discount on the new phone. Six months later, they sent me an email saying that my S7 does not "pass the data wipe test" meaning I didn't reset my phone correctly!? When I got it back (after paying $130+tax) and turned it on, it went straight into initial setup. That means I reset it to manufacturer default correctly. I worked as an IT tech for 35 years. You think I don't know how to reset a phone? What's up with this, Samsung?
