I have a samsung A12 and have never been able to receive MMS and now as of Friday 29th October incoming text messages stopped.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

I had already done that too. It's only iPhone messages I can't receive. I can receive messages from Samsung phones.

Hi @MrsD123, that's strange. 

I suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app for this to be investigated further. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further. 

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

I have had no response to my error message and it stated they respond within 24 hours. Am really losing patience as I need this fixed urgently. I have cancer surgery next week and my family need to be able to message me as they aren't allowed to visit in hospital. Also have to receive pre-operation appointment notifications. Will never buy a Samsung phone again

I have had my phone looked at by a local technician and it seems that the sim card is the problem.
Thank you for your advice in trying to resolve this issue.
