Capturing a miniature warrior in stunning, high-gloss detail. The earwig is caught in a moment of stillness, displaying a magnificent gradient of colors from a ruby-red head and metallic maroon armor down to its translucent, amber legs.

The lighting emphasizes the smooth, hard texture of its exoskeleton, making it look like a creature forged from glass and fire. Dominating the frame are its formidable, curved pincers, glowing with an orange hue before tapering to dangerous black tips, reminding us that in the insect world, even the smallest creatures are built for battle.

Thanks so much @BAAMM
I was kind of lucky as the earwig was stuck in a washing basket that was outside. After getting so shots I make sure I put it in the garden 🌿🍃

That was really lucky! And thats nice that you put it back after its modelling work 😂👏👍🏻

Great capture!
I would freak...looks brutal and I am not a fan of the exoskeletons especially ones with wings.

Thanks heaps @Scarcha
They are super small little bugs and are completely harmless to us. And those pincers that look like they could chop your finger off are far to weak to cause any significant damage 🤠👌
