Hi All,

We recently purchased Galaxy Flip 3 with trade in for my old Galaxy Note 10+. All went well besides waiting for more than a month for the email to return the old galaxy note 10+.

Once we received the email, we took our Note 10+ to the post office with its original box to prevent damage. The post office lady told us to remove it from the box and gave us a small thin padded bag to use (not safe at all) but she said it will be fine. Our Note 10+ was in like new condition since we keep the original clear sticker on it.

After another couple of weeks, Asurion agent email us that the condition of the phone is not good as it has cracks at the back and they will cancel our refund.

How do we know that the crack is not cause by post office or even Asurion staff? Very bad experience, no way to communicate by phone only via email with lengthy delay.

I have/had multiple Samsung devices and not just phone but this experience really leave a bad taste.

Just a PSA for everyone, remember to take a video when returning your phone to Asurion (hopefully its allowed by your post office). or if possible return it to samsung store.

I did exactly that... took a video, heaps of photos etc. Yet Asurion comes back and says I'm missing a charger cable so the trade up value was $0 (I only knew this after trying for ages to get the reason). Turns out their technician was unable to find a missing  charging cable in the tiny Samsung watch box.  Wow... Incompetence is the only word for it.  The annoying part is that Asurion does not respond in any sort of timely manner, and it is only after going via Samsung community forum and getting help from Samsung rep. that things started escalating.  They checked the box again and voila...oh the charging cable is there. Now your refund is worth $250 instead of $0. Lucky me. Trade up using Asurion at your own risk.

TOTAL CHEATS!I agree with all of the other negative reviews - I was supposed to get $175 back. They told me that my phone was damaged, which it was not when I sent it, and said that it was only worth $10!! They are refusing to honour the payment... THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

Same issues as others are facing with Asurion, Trade in dropped to $1 for no valid reason and still waiting for my phone back after calls/emails.

My last Samsung purchase ever - tech or home app. Samsung is ruining their brand by associating with Asurion. Samsung chat directed me to Asurion again ( :()
