A33 5G No 4k in YouTube?

it haven't been a week since I got my A33 5G, and I am pretty new to samsung.

I just find A33 5G not being able to switch to 2160p Video quality really frustrating.

is this on purpose? or a bug/issue?

Hey Azcarius, are you viewing media through YouTube? Maybe the video you are trying to watch does not support 2160p.

they do though, I've tried multiple 4k videos and I myself can confirm they work as I've checked and used those in the past as well

Hey Azcarius, I did a little digging about this issue and here's what I found:

YouTube may refuse to allow 4K videos on devices that it has classified to not support 4K video. It may be that your A33 5G has been listed down as such.

Other reports also indicate that the Exynos processor on your A33 5G is unable to support 4K streaming. 

You may try and work around this by using YouTube through your Samsung Internet browser (or your mobile browser of choice) and see if you can stream 4K content through there.

Streaming 4k videos on a mobile phone is a waste of data; 1080p would suffice.
Unless you're watching it on a 4k TV, it would be a great experience.
