A52. Can not update apps on Play Store after installing Android security patch level 1 February 2022

On my A52 5g after installing the Android security patch level 1 February 2022 application updates can not complete. The error is "Couldn't install".

I know it's the security patch because after trying a few things like clearing the Play cache and restarting a number of times I reset the phone, came back as One UI version 4.0 on Android version 12 and everything worked fine, as soon as I applied the security patch it could not longer update apps on the phone.

Any help appreciated.

All good I turned off Device Security and it came good, funny how it worked with it on in the past.

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right

Hi, go to settings - apps - device health services - disable. Cant remember if i had to reboot.

Did you try clearing " device cache " in Apps an seeing if it works

Hi, my A50 has been glitching like crazy since feb 1 update. I've cleared the cache multiple time but it keeps shutting itself down at random times. After updating a number of Apps I thought I had fixed it. but it keeps happening. I'm at my wits end as there is no problem according to the internal care report.

My ocd got the better of me when it happened and I went searching for solutions and it seems that were not alone. There are a lot of reports of glitchy, unusable and broken features. Another I found was the battery drain, where it went from a days usage to 3 or 4 hours, in the end it turned out to be the theme I was using, or at least after I changed it, battery usage returned to normal. Yet before the update it was fine, go figure.

Hi @NickR, that's strange. 

I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further.

My Samsung Galaxy A71_5G Phone Just one year old after last system Update Every time restart keep Ask for enter Phone Number , said last step for chat setting , anyone know How to fix, call Customer Service still can't fix, please help
