Galaxy AOne UI 7 Setup
On its UI.
So far, so good. I like the new UI. It's clean. However, the battery icon could be better and I liked the look of the One UI 6 widgets. I believe it's because of itscurvey look right now that I don't like much hahaha but that's just me.
It'snow bar is also a new feature that I appreciate. However, for mid-range phones like mine, you have to turn off the fingerprint lockscreen unlock for it to be placed in-between the camera and call icons. You can choose not to but the now bar will be placed on top of the fingerprint button (which I don't find pleasing).
On its battery health.
I've heard of how battery is draining fast for most people. For me, the battery is actually not draining faster. It's a bit better than previously.
On its performance.
It feels much more interactive when you navigate through your phone. The transition of opening one app to the other is smoother. I haven't tried gaming but so far, if you're just scrolling through your social media and whatnot, it does feel smooth.
On its camera.
The look of the One UI7 camera feels premium. It's also easier to access in terms of changing your resolution etc. compared to the previous One UI where you have to navigate your thumb/fingers on top. I don't see much difference in terms of taking photos but I've seen some videos on socmed that the video is not as stabilised as the previous One UI? Mainly when it comes to the 0.5.
Final thoughts.
Overall, it's good. I can't say much as I have to see how this new update will affect my experience thus far in the following days or so.
