A55 4 yrs update

Sheesh bro, Idk why is it unfair to other lower midrange phones like A16 have 6 years major update while me as an A55 user has only 4 years update 😔 i bought A55 for continuous updates and prolong use

That's because they are a "new" phone models. Such as A16 26 36 and 56 will be receiving 6 years now. I guess that depends how lucky people can be hahshah

Sheesh, even though I knew a56 came out before I bought a55 that time, I didn't like the back camera lens being combined like that, it looks awful and I refused to buy, only to know they have diff major OS updates 😔

But it doesn't even matter honestly, my old phone already reaching its 8year mark before I even upgraded to a16. You can use it til' its last breath. Minus the assurance of security...tho it really doesn't matter for me atleast haha

Nooo one ui8 is coming on midrange phones probably this year and, us A55 users will have one more update left T_T this feels unfair i wanna keep updating

Actually, that's not how it works on android. In 1 year they can release 2 os update so basically you could technically still get 2 os in just 1 year. That's how I was educated before but I'm not really sure

Do try searching about it. As from what I read and heard, if they released 2 os in 1 year, that's still 1 year. Since we're talking about years not 4 software updates.


They advertised it like 6years of software update so yeah it's still based on a year. But really I'm not sure and might have read it wrong.

That' is a marketing strategy to increase software upgrade support to new models, in order to attract users to upgrade their phones.

then you bought wrong phone, you should go with A36 or A56 for longer update
