Yes this is the new way of using dual sim with the upgrade to one ui 3.0/3.1. You have to choose which sim to use first by tapping the SIM 1 or 2 symbol then use it accordingly.
Hate the new one ui 3.1. Very difficult if you use dual sims all the time. Samsung removed the dual sim text & call buttons. I'm thinking of purchasing a diff brand cause of this. Samsung used to have the best user interface, but not anymore. One ui 3.1 is one of the worst. Thumbs down to the software developers.
