Thank you for reaching out to us in order to know the Camera Set-up available for your Samsung Galaxy A12.
Follow these easy steps to figure out your Samsung Galaxy A12 common Camera Settings.
A) First, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.
Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen notifications.
B) Your Camera Icon and its description.
From a Home screen, tap the Camera icon.
C) Settings:
1. Tap Settings
2. Selection an option.
- Shooting Methods
- HDR
D) Shooting Methods.
1. Tap Shooting methods.
2. Tap Press Volume key to then select an option (e.g. Take picture or record video, Zoom, etc.)
3. Tap any of the following options to turn on or of.
- Floating Shutter button
- Show palm
E) Auto HDR.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) combines photos or videos taken at different exposures for one optimal photo or video.
Tap the Auto HDR switch to turn on or off.
F) Flash.
1. Tap the Flash Icon.
2. Select an option:
- On
- Off
- Auto
E) Self-timer.
1. Tap the Self-timer icon.
2. Select an option:
- Off
- 2 secs
- 5 secs
- 10 secs
F) Camera Effects.
1. Tap the Effects icon.
2. Swipe left to choose a present effect (e.g. Warm, Cool, Lolli, etc.).
G) Wide angle.
Tap the Wide angle icon to change between Ultra wide angel and Wide angle.
H) Camera mode.
To change the camera mode, swipe left or right to select an option:
- Live Focus
- Photo
- > Capture a picture.
- Video
- > Capture video.
- Pro
- > Manually adjust the ISO sensitivity, white balance, and color tone.
- Panorama
- > Tap the Camera button then pan slowly in one direction.
- Macro
- > Used to capture images up close (3-5 cm away).
- Food
- > Optimizes images taken of food.
I) Switch cameras.
Tap the Camera Facing icon to switch between rear and front-facing camera.
