Cannot add Maybank Debit Card for Samsung Pay

Hi everyone,

Please help me to figure out to add my Maybank debit card for Samsung Pay. It is very unfortunate to not being able use this Samsung feature.

I'm using the same debit card as your but I'm unable to add my card into samsung pay. It shows "CAN'T COMPLETE REGISTRATION". It says " your request wasn't approved by the card issuer. Try another card or contact your card issuer for more information". Tried multiples times already.

I got the same issue when I tried to register with my new Samsung phone. My previous Samsung phone does not have this kind of issue

Hi! For me it shows "CAN'T COMPLETE REGISTRATION". It says " your request wasn't approved by the card issuer. Try another card or contact your card issuer for more information"

The error message is clear that the issue comes from the card issuer. I think probably you have attached the card to other device, and some banks do not support multiple devices. You need to call the bank and ask to reset digital token for your card.

I managed to add Maybank debit card...sometimes it might be the network prob...wat is the error showing?

I had the same issue and just recently solved the problem. I previously added my maybank debit on my z flip 3. Then i changed to my s22 plus. The bank card was successfully added on flip. Then when i tried to add it on my s22plus, it said my info invalid. So what did i do, i opened up samsung pay app, went to the tab menu. Clicked on the setting icon, and reset app and chose my previous phone. Then wallaaahh, the card has been successfully added on my new phone. I hope this will help you too. 😊

and make sure to call your bank to reset the digital token first.

Means that, we can only register the card on only one samsung devica? For example, if already registered at z flip 4, cannot register at watch 5?

If your watch is connected to any of your samsung phones, then it can link and use the same card. It is a pair, not a different device
