You have to pair them first together. Follow these steps:
1. restart your phone 2. turn on Bluetooth on phone 3. turn on Bluetooth of speaker 4. press Bluetooth button on speaker for 5-7 seconds to activate pairing. 5. phone should find your speaker by this time under Bluetooth menu. 6. tap on speaker to pair
