I was using a Galaxy Note 10 before and it took a swim so I looked for a new phone and thought of buying he A33 5g, I thought it was good at first but I am very disappointed so far. No AOD, no wake up options when getting notifications.

I have a A33 5g device it amused me. What i like with A33 5g is the camera features and 48mp back camera/ 32mp front camera.

They didn't even advertise A33 with AOD, right? But yeah maybe you thought it has since it's Samsung.

Anyway, screen flash notifications might be your option. Setting > Accessibility > Advance setting.

Sorry to hear that, Jamsanity, about your disappointment on your newly bought Samsung Galaxy A33 5G expecting it to have an Always O Display and wake-up options in notifications and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused you.

As an alternative, you may please follow the steps provided to get notified via flashlight on selected apps.

Step 1. Open the Settings on the device.

Step 2. Scroll down and select Accessibility.

Step 3. Tap Advanced Settings then select Flash notification.

Step 4.  Tap Camera flash notification. You may also choose Screen flash notification.

Step 5. Enable Camera flash notification.

Step 6. You can enable flash notifications for selected apps.
