Facebook crashing since UI upgrade

Facebook crashes everytime I write a comment of more than one sentence since receiving March 2022 UI upgrade. Very frustrating since my place is lost and my comment has to be retyped 😪

Likewise if I try to add an emoticon.

Or if I try looking at any spelling or grammar suggestions. 

Any help or suggestions please ... greatly appreciated. Am no longer bothering to use comments - maybe that is a bonus! 😝

I moved to Lite version and don't get any issues. With the other I'd just delete and reinstall.

Hi @FLBuh, that's strange. I suggest trying the following steps: 

1. Clear app cache:

Settings > Apps > Facebook > Storage > Clear cache

2. Uninstall and Reinstall the app. Note: this will log you out of your account. 

Tap and hold app icon > Uninstall.
