Hi

I just got new Galaxy A53 and there is one serious security issue. I set up fingerprint recognition on both fingers (thumbs) and this is working fine for me but when my daughter tied my phone got unlocked.  The phone recognized her fingerprint and unlocks. This is really worriying, what should I do ?

It looks like this is not working very well and probably other people could unlock my phone.

Hi @krisnew, that's odd. Could you provide some more information on what occurred?

Depending on the timing, it's possible your screen went black and timed out but was not locked and your daughter was able to access it. This can occur if she attempted within seconds of the screen going black.

If it was locked and you witnessed her tap the fingerprint scanner, I suggest removing and re-enabling your fingerprint lock to see if this helps.

Tried from factory reset to everything, but still issue is persistent.  My phone is just 6 days old.

Hi,

I also faced this issue recently, My niece was able to unlock my phone with her finger. And she did it multiple times even after cleaning the screen.
