I own a Galaxy A15 5G, I found a way to get it running much more smoothly without as much lag. Obviously it was still laggier than, for example, the S24, but it is much more usable.

Go into Settings 》 Device care 》 Memory 》 RAM Plus (or the same setting with an alternate name). Switch it OFF.

This will then restart your phone, and it will feel much more smoother. Again, it won't be as good as a flagship, but it would have much less lag and be more 'usable'.

You could check on running apps in background. if you have had it a while do a reinstall, if using YouTube set to lowest quality download. You might find more if on main Community page top right, search fot various key awords like

Thanks heaps for this tip, I was baffled by how slow my new A16 has been (compared to fast A15). This *** worked for me

If you're tech savvy, also, you can try booting into recovery mode, then clearing cache. Search a few youtubes on this.

Such a waste.of money. I bought it 2 weeks ago after I fried my s21. It performs worse than the note 8+ that I was using in the Interim.  Wasn't expecting a lot but this is ***
