Galaxy A50 Battery Dead - resets not working

All of a sudden my A50's screen went black and this white circle with a lightning bolt has appeared. The phone wont turn on now even when plugged in to power and it doesn't seem to be charging.  

I've tried the resets by pressing the volume down and power button as well as recovery mode by pressing the volume up and power button as suggested on the internet but none of this is working. The symbol just stays there. 

All I really want is to retrieve the photos of it. Does anyone have any other suggestions to get it working again or a way I can retrieve the photos?

Leave the charger on for 30 mins. Then try turning it back on.

If that didn't work, you can try posting the volume down (hold it), then press the power button down as well. Hold both for about 20 seconds.

If they don't work, the phone might need to be brought in for repair

Hi @Kyles_182, that's odd. It looks like it may be plugged in but not charging. Have you checked whether your charger is securely plugged into the power point? 

Could you try the below and let me know how you go:

1. Unplug device

2. Hold power and volume down button simultaneously until Samsung logo appears

2. Let go once Samsung screen appears

3. Plug in charger

Also try another charger lead together with mbckl's suggestion
