I just went to the Samsung site to check the price and specs of the yet to be released A73 5g, and noticed that once again Samsung has decided in their infinite wisdom to only release the absolute lowest version of the phone here in Australia. Lowest specs, fewest colours and not to mention months after other countries. This doesn't always happen in Australia, but does happen often, where other countries get the choice of a higher spec version of a phone but we only get the crappest. Why does this happen? I would probably have bought the A73 5g if the 256gb/8gb version was available to me, but I can see we only get offered the 128gb/6gb version here. And only in black or white.
Yeah, virtual ram is not as good as actual ram. And I micro sd is only good for pictures and music. Apps don't work properly off a card. The specs for the Australian available version are pretty **bleep** seeing as they compare quite evenly with a A52, that's a year old now. Regardless, my question was why do they not release all versions/variations of a phone to all markets? Literally, my current a52 5g has more ram, twice the storage, can hold 1tb external. Same screen, has the same features, camera is the same. It's a legitimate question that sure, isn't really a big deal. But still warrants some kind of answer.
