For those experiencing green lines but never dropped nor damaged their phone, I can say it was not the users problem, it's samsung manufacturer fault.
Last September, I experienced green line on the left side of the screen (near the center part). I consulted a technician and said it needs screen replacement. I refused since I am not sure if the screen to be replaced is original. The phone is out of warranty so definitely I did not consult Samsung centers.
Then, after 1 week it disappeared and appeared again 1 month later. Until now the green line flickered or disappered once I used my phone scrolling on any apps. I took care of my phone, turning off AOD and fast charging, using it once needed to avoid overheating. I do not also believe that software updates are harmful to your phone.
Just today, the green line moved to the left again near the left bezels. I was worried that it might be an additional green line. But no, it was the same green line but just moved distantly from its original position.
So funny already. Hence, everything you do, do not matter. Whether you use your phone frequently or not, the green line will appear. Even if it will be repaired, green line will definitely appear.
I am waiting for the One UI 7. Maybe this bug will be fixed.
no, it's hardware issue, but you can prove me wrong by installing one ui 7 next year, hopefully your green line issue won't duplicate before one ui 7 arrive to your phone
Hardware issue triggered by software updates. Software might cause overheating of certain chips near flex cables that's causing the lines. My s21 still running in UI 5.1plenty of drops and water accident thankfully no lines. also waiting for UI 7 and feedbacks before updating 😂
