I just noticed something quite a bit alarming

I don't know if this had happened before or after the one ui 7 update but for some reason... I'm having an issue with Battery Protection.

Currently, I'm using theBasic Protection and I've noticed a pattern these past few days of my charging cycle. Whenever I fill it all the way to 100% it never goes to 95% but instead keeps charging at 100%. Where as the purpose of theBasic is when charging all the way to 100% it will stopped charging until it reaches 95% again. But that's not the case.

I can use modes and routines for this however this is still a bit alarming considering that some may not know about this issue.

I've done some research and some do encounter this issues from last year so I'm really not sure if it's in one ui 7

This is from both last year but now I've encountered the same issue.

Ps. I did tried booting on recovery mode and wipe my cache partition but that didn't cut it.

I don't know how the "basic" and "adaptive" work sometimes because as you said....it seems the feature is broke, it does not work for me either as intended even at one ui 6

So I stayed at the "Maximum" all the time and set it to 90% after the one ui 7

Yeah, i think the "Maximum" only works for now....hopefully they will fix this via security patch

i never update my s21 to android 15. im using the basic protection feature as well
