Issues With Unlocking via Biometrics

Hi there. So I recently updated my Galaxy A52s 5G's software to One UI 5.1, with build number A528BXXU2EWC1. After this update, issues started happening with unlocking via biometrics. For instance, when I unlock using Fingerprint/Face Recognition, it will go back to the unlock screen again. Is this a software issue or a hardware issue?

Hi, do u mean that after u did ur biometric authentication, the screen still stays at the unlock screen and not automatically direct u to ur phone screen?

If you are using Face biometric, I would suggest u to turn off this option.

If not u can also try to remove the biometric & redo the process again.

[UPDATE] I just restore my phone back to factory settings, and have set up the device as new. Currently monitoring if the issues still persists.

Hope u backed up all ur files and apps before the factory reset.
