Have anyone experienced this? I just noticed it yesterday in which I needed to work on a remote location that didn't have available Wi-Fi Connection. So I used my phone for mobile hotspot.

While on a Teams meeting, someone tried to call me (on my phone number) multiple times . And everytime that that bloody human called, the internet connection dropped 😂

I thought it was my laptop nor my network provider, but I therefore concluded that it's because of the phone call...cause that person tried to call me up 10 to 15 times while presenting in the middle of the meeting 😂

Is there a way a fix this or this is a product limitation already? 😅

That means you don't have volte enabled (network level) or temporarily not available for your phone and drops to lower generations due to csfb.

I think, its just the icon for volte is temporarily gone and resort to 3g or 2g when incoming calls, which my s25 ultra already have this on my secondary sim due to my carrier being to lazy to provision.

Wait, 5G network supports VoLTE, right? Why does my network settings look like this when my preferred network is 5G? 😅

It seems that it can only be accessed when I switch to 4G haha1754124092528.jpg

Actually... I think I haven't seen that my phone's signal indicator has VoLTE before 0.0

So that's volte/vowifi haven't been provisioned, to check if it's provisioned or not, try to call any number and check if there's "video call" if nothing and just see the "hold call" only, it's not available for hd voice and video calls.

choose preferred 4G, turn on VoLTE

5G suppose has VoNR, but only god knows when VoNR when available for Philippines. If VoNR supported then when someone call via cellular phone call 5G remain active

so currently i prefer 4G + VoLTE on, so whenever someone call me on cellular phone call then my internet connection always remain 4G, until VoNR a thing

also alternative solution: you can buy other SIM Card special just for hotspot, so whenever that human calls they won't interfere your online meeting

But 5g still supports volte, bc 5g sa dosen't deployed yet for major network players. And still falls back to 4g when on a call when 5g preferred.

But, still buy a new sim card for calls and data + hotspot.
