One UI 7

Everyone is damned crazy waiting for this update on their Galaxy Devices. I'm disappointed that my phone was not included on the list of one ui version feature update. 

Please tell me your sentiments about why Samsung delayed / will not allow outdated Samsung phones to have One Ui 7.

Samsung delaying the update is to ensure that the new software is smooth and functional on the phones. And not allowing the update on outdated phones just ensure that your experience with their phone will still be good in terms of battery life and speed!

Thankfully, samsung already has the 7 years updates on its new phones. So it's their way of responding to complaints similar to these.

Respectfully, This is cap and you know it.

Samsung is already HALF A YEAR BEHIND the Android 15 update compared to Google and especially other OEMs like OnePlus and Xiaomi (which all released their Android 15 updates to the public within 2 months of the Pixels), not the 6+ months waiting game Samsung is forcing us to endure with One UI 7.

This is especially bad since Google will likely release Android 16 to the public within the next month or 2, so there's a statistical probability that S24 Ultra owners might be 2 YEARS BEHIND in terms of Android version upgrades vs. the competition. ☹️

Though Android 15 has been release for 6 months already, you have to consider the polishing Samsung has been doing for One UI 7. As you should know, Samsung's version of android is a skin (and one of the more complex ones) over base android. So polishing it, and making one of their best versions of it, will take time.

For OneUI7 bring delayed, i think they started late or they found issues that they have to address. I'm not affected that much because i want to lessen my screen time as much as possible so I'm not that excited about it. I also don't see much of practical use for it so far. My impression is that the features are focused on media consumption. I am not planning to talk to my phone more than i do now. People already open their mouths when i do voice typing or talk to Bixby to call, create reminder, start/stop a timer, set alarm and connect to Bluetooth device.

Samsung announces it's length of support for almost each galaxy device launch so I'm pretty much preconditioned for it. If the major update is that of a big deal for me, i might just buy a new phone when their support ends. It's good (i think) that instead of shortening their support to possibly force me to buy earlier, they have extended it to 7 years of major updates and more security updates. I myself am not sure if i would be able to hold on to my device for that long because i think 4.5 years is the most i got with my previous device. 9 months is the shortest. I miss the edge/curved screen though - it's easier for me to do edge gestures. Okay I've said too much.

I mean we're still in S25 selling season so it's understandable they would keep it a little bit exclusive to their 2025 flagship lineup to boost sales. Isn't that supposed to be business101? 😊 Also bat ba nagmamadali tao makakuha ng 7.0? Lol facelift lang naman dala nyan sa phones 😂

I don't think Ui 7 will be out soon. So just wait, it's better to have stable update :)
