One UI Home application received what seems to be its One UI 8.0 application update, Version 17.0.01.3. This update is (only) fully compatible with One UI 8.0 (Android 16) based on the update's change logs. However, the update can still be installed on Samsung Galaxy A53 running on One UI 7.0 (Android 15).

After installing, I've noticed the following issues immediately:

-NavStar (version 7.0.00.17) stopped working which resulted to inability to switch from one app to another, or even access to One UI Home launcher's home screen if you're using swipe gestures navigation ba option. This will be partially resolved by changing navigation bar option to buttons.

Home Up version (16.0.00.90) will also stop working. Any Home Up customizations won't take effect. I've also noticed that the Task Changer is not working. Not sure if it's because of the customizations I had set up using Home Up.

-Frequent app crashes will also be experienced. It's ironic because the updates changelogs tells us that it fixed a lot of bugs, but this😆😆 I'm eperiencing this issue a lot when I visit Settings app or click the 3-dots menu settings in Edge Panel.

Clicking the 3-dots menu setting will result to One UI Home app crash.

-Gestures aren't working.

Since this is not fully utilized for Samsung Galaxy A53, I recommend to not manually push the app update. If you accidentally updated this application, uninstalling the update by going toSettings app >Apps >One UI Home >3-dots menu > Uninstall Updates is the only solution for this issue😆

But for me, I will test this app update further to check if this will be resolved without using complex solutions😆

It really has a lot of issues 😆 It's testing my patience hahahahaha I can't even switch from one app to another without going to the bloody app launcher 😆

Welp, it was my choice to stay on this One UI Home version 😆
