Hi~ That may actually would have something to do with your device's hardware. How much RAM does your phone have? What processor does it have? What are the apps simultaneously running?

The bigger the RAM makes the device run smoother even when running multiple apps and/or large-sized apps. On the other hand, if your device doesn't have much RAM Or running on a mid-range or older generation processor, then I recommend to avoid installing too much app and/or those power hungry apps to keep it optimized. 😉

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Clear Cache Partition.

Step 1. Turn off your phone.

Step 2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).

Step 3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.

Step 4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.

Step 5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).

Step 6. Navigate to and select Yes.

Step 7. Press the power button to select Reboot system now.

Make restarting your Galaxy phone a daily habit.

Periodic restarting can prevent problems with your Galaxy phone. If your phone suddenly freezes or your phone is too slow, try restarting your phone first. The issue can sometimes be resolved just by restarting the phone. It is recommended to restart periodically to see if that solves the problem before visiting the Samsung service center.

How to automate periodic restarts.

Galaxy phones can be set to automatically restart periodically. Follow the steps below to activate the Auto restart at set times feature.

Step 1. Open Settings, and then select Battery and device care.

Step 2. Tap the More options (the three vertical dots).

Step 3. Select Automation.

Step 4. Tap Auto restart at set times.

Step 5. Set the Schedule. Your phone will restart automatically within 1 hour of the time you set.

Your phone will only restart when:

  • The screen is off.
  • The phone isn't being used.
  • The battery is above 30%.
  • SIM card lock is off.

Step 1. Launch the Samsung Members app, and then tap the Support icon for more options.

Step 2. Scroll and select Error reports.
