My mom came up to me and showed me her phone like this. Wallpaper gone, all app icons and widgets gone but the apps still exist on the phone. She did not restart the phone or update it before this happened. We restarted the phone and it said "Android is starting..." and you could see the original wallpaper in the background but after that message was gone, it was back to this black wallpaper. Any ideas on how to get back my original app layout? Samsung A14

That's ultra power saving mode. Disable it (top right button).

Go into the battery settings and disable this setting1724991964485.jpg

This feature is perfect if you're travelling and don't have access to a charger!
