I want to watch a video or listen to a song, but when a notification (Messenger, YouTube, Discord, etc.) pops up the sound of the video/song that I'm playing suddenly "ducks" (that's why my phone is always on Silent mode). I just want to know if I can fix it, or it its already on default and cannot be fix.

P.S: Idk if the "Audio Ducking" is the right term for this topic.

It's usually for safety reasons but as far as i know you cant diable this unless you turn of notification or muting notifications and also try lowering notification sound or just puting your phone on vibrate, but one splution i did before is installing sound assistant from samsung and enabling multi sound choose youtube or samsung music or where ever you play the music and its ready to gooScreenshot_20220131-030447_Sound Assistant.jpg

This are the links

Galaxy store: https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.soundassistant

ApkMirror: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/soundassistant/soundassistant-4-1-06-1-rele... (if you're not android 11 please choice the other option under the download menu)

Just use the samsung galaxy for much more easier but if its not available use the apkmirror one

I tried to download in ApkMirror (from the latest update to June update) and install it, but the app doesn't work even though my phone is already an Android 11.

Should install

Try workaround

1. Remove both simcards ( mandatory )
2. Turn ON airplane mode
3. Clear the Data of Galaxy Store
4. Connect to a WiFi network
5. Connect to VPN with Location *South Korea* ( mandatory )
6. Open Galaxy Store
7. Search the sound assistant and install the one as shown in the screenshot.
8. That's it.Screenshot_20220131-063807_Finder.jpgScreenshot_20220131-063756_Sound Assistant.jpg

Or try this as work around for the notif issue

To automate the Do Not Disturb toggle, you can use Tasker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm&hl=en).

Create a task that sets Do Not Disturb to "No Interruptions"

Create a task that sets *Do Not Disburb" to "Allow All"

Create a profile

Add trigger to the "No Interruptions" task when a specific application is launched (i.e. YouTube Music),

link an Exit task that triggers "Allow all"

Simply download SoundAssistant in the galaxy store, it's actually available in our region. No need for APKMirror or VPN guys 😉

Just enable "Do not disturb" every time you watch a movie or listening to music
